Highlights

The Dräger VarioGard 2320 IR is a transmitter with a 4-20 mA output signal and integrated infrared sensor. It detects carbon dioxide in non Ex areas, such as breweries and wineries.

High reliability

The Dräger VarioGard 2320 is equipped with highly precise infrared optical sensors, significantly reducing the occurrence of false alarms, ensuring that it only alerts when genuine danger is present. Moreover, the IR sensors demonstrate exceptional durability and infrequent recalibration requirements. Additionally, these sensors exhibit resistance to external elements in the surrounding air, mitigating the risk of sensor damage.

Simple set-up and handling

The Dräger VarioGard 2320 offers effortless installation and operation, eliminating the need for specialised knowledge or training. All devices are pre-configured before delivery, eliminating the need for additional setup. Furthermore, future maintenance of the device requires only a few tools, such as a magnetic wand, calibration adapter and test gas.

Variable measuring ranges

With the Dräger VarioGard 2320 for carbon dioxide, you can switch between the measuring range end values in ppm for occupational exposure limit monitoring and vol.-% for leakage monitoring.

Standardised output signal

Thanks to its standardized 4 to 20 mA signal, the Dräger VarioGard product family can be combined with any control system and can also be integrated into existing systems.

Focus on sustainability

The VarioGard transmitter aligns with Dräger's sustainability philosophy by incorporating durable DrägerSensors, enabling an extended service life for the device. The new housing design optimises material usage compared to its predecessor. Additionally, existing accessories and electronic spare parts from the previous series remain compatible, reducing waste. Dräger also facilitates the recycling of old devices by accepting them for disposal.
