Highlights
The Dräger VarioGard 3300 IR is a digital transmitter with an integrated infrared optical DrägerSensor. It detects flammable gases such as methane and LPG in non Ex areas, such as underground garages and laboratories.
Digital function
The Dräger VarioGard 3300 IR is connected with the controller via a digital VarioGard bus. This is how it is supplied with electricity and how it transmits its measuring results. You can easily control the entire VarioGard system via the VarioGard bus.
High reliability
The VarioGard 3300 IR is equipped with an infrared optical DrägerSensor. This sensor measures the concentration of flammable gases in the ambient air. The measured values are transmitted digitally to the controller and displayed there. An alarm is triggered if the gas concentration exceeds one or more of the configured limit values.
Easy operation
The VarioGard 3300 IR is adapted to your system. Depending on the application, different gas libraries are available: LPG for garages and CH4 for methane monitoring that do not require explosion protection.
Individually configurable
The VarioGard 3300 IR is adaptable to your needs. This means that you have different gas libraries available depending upon the desired use. It detects LPG for garages and CH4 for methane monitoring that does not require explosion protection. In addition, you can place the cable inlets on all four sides of the transmitter. The transmitter can be mounted vertically as well as horizontally.
Focus on sustainability
The VarioGard transmitter aligns with Dräger's sustainability philosophy by incorporating durable DrägerSensors, enabling an extended service life for the device. The new housing design optimises material usage compared to its predecessor. Additionally, existing accessories and electronic spare parts from the previous series remain compatible, reducing waste. Dräger also facilitates the recycling of old devices by accepting them for disposal.
